Blink is the number 1 employee app, created to connect and empower all staff whether they are working on the front line or behind the desk. Blink combines workplace messaging with access to rotas, policy and training documents, e-payslips, and holiday booking forms. The app provides everything that an employee will require during their employment, all in one place on their personal device. It works to boost levels of engagement and productivity and thus increase the overall sense of happiness in the work environment.
Blink was created to serve those employees of society that the team at Blink believed are often neglected: those working on the front line - that is, those employed in the transport, logistics, hospitality, retail etc. These people are the backbone of society, but their needs are often forgotten. Blink wanted to change this.
Blink can help to empower employees with the information and connections that make all the difference. Introducing Blink has been shown to reduce employee turnover by 26% and double engagement rates. What’s more, they deliver ROI in under 6 months. 86% of their current front line users are opening the app every day, on average 10 times a day.
In its first year before launch, Blink has partnered with frontline organisations to solve real-life problems for their workers. The first major rollout in January 2019 was for 22,000 employees at transport company Stagecoach.
Employees can access rosters, complete digital forms for leave, absence and accidents, access digital payslips and feedback in real-time to managers on issues and concerns impacting them.
By May 2020, Blink has been deployed in over 100 organisations in 14 countries including customers such as the NHS and the Prison Service.
