It combines the ease and convenience of an online website with the first-class service of a physical boutique, and supports its customers through all stages of luxury watch ownership. 

CHRONEXT controls the full purchasing process and has a team of watchmaking experts who authenticate every watch in a 17-step authenticity and quality control process, offering a 24-month CHRONEXT warranty. Through its hybrid business model, CHRONEXT sells both its own and third-party inventory from manufacturers, retailers and private suppliers on its platform. It offers a seamless customer experience at scale across multiple devices as well as through 11 exclusive lounges around the world.

To date, CHRONEXT has served over 100,000 customers across the globe.

About the founders/CEO:

Philipp Man is the CEO and Ludwig Wurlitzer is the CPO at CHRONEXT. They founded Chronext together in March 2013, directly after graduation, at the age of 22 and 23 years. Their shared vision was vision was to create a global marketplace, enabling brands, retailers and consumers to buy, sell and own luxury watches in a convenient, engaging and most importantly, guaranteed safe way.

Philipp Man launched his first venture, a clothing retailer, at the age of 17. He got a Master of Philosophy as well as Innovation, Strategy and Organization from the University of Cambridge. Later he worked as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Zurich and at the Oil & Gas department of Glencore. In 2017, he was featured as an entrepreneur in the Forbes list 30 under 30. 

Ludwig Wurlitzer holds a BSc from King’s College London, specializing in business law, technology and innovation. He has also gained experience in Musical Instruments Production as well as the Fine Art and the IT Sector. At CHRONEXT, he oversees all product development.
