Over 8 million users have planned trips using MyRealTrip since its inception and the company offers over 10,000 products for domestic travels and over 23,000 products for overseas travels across 780 cities worldwide. The company has a large team which it is looking to increase from its current size of 120 employees including around 60 developers.
About the founders/CEO:
Donggun Lee is founder of CEO and founder of MyRealTrip. Fluent in both Korean and English, he started the company while he was a student majoring in Business Administration at Korea University and he had a clear vision: to make it easier for Koreans to travel abroad and domestically. This has now been realized and MyRealTrip is the best marketplace for all things travel among Korean tourists.
Before MyRealTrip, Donggun set up CoNcreate, a crowdfunding start-up focusing on the music industry. The service was acquired by Daum, second-largest online portal in South Korea.
