Material Exchange joins our Portfolio

Material Exchange, which created a digital and sustainable solution for fashion industry supply chain, raised $6M in a new funding round led by Norrsken VC and Partech. There was also investment from Inventure, Day One Capital, and Lyra Ventures. These new funds will help Material Exchange scale up their solution to match the increase in demand due to the pandemic.

$40 Million raised and brand new products ๐Ÿ‘€

Ava: released 2 new products and raised $4.5 Million

Ava, the world leader in technology for deaf or hard of hearing people, released their cutting-edge products: Ava Scribe and Ava Closed Captions, which help those most challenged by the pandemic. In addition, Ava has also revealed a raise of $4.5M in a round co-led by Initialized Capital and Khosla Ventures.ย

Getsafe: $30 Millionย 

Getsafe, Germany's leading digital insurer, announced a $30M Series B funding round. The round was led by Swiss Reโ€™s iptiQ with participation from exisiting investors such as Earlybird and CommerzVentures. The fresh funding will be vital for Getsafe's ambition to obtain its own insurance license by mid 2021. This will consolidate their position as the market leader and will allow them to further their expansion in Europe.ย Read More


Upvest: $6 Million

Upvest, the German fintech offering a plug-and-play pan-European securities API, has raised a further $6M to close its Series A round. This round was led by Earlybird after Partech was among the investors in the initial $8M raise in 2019. The additional funds will help them secure their brokerage bank license and hire new talents to join their Berlin-based team.ย Read More
