The e-commerce web builder, Zaapi, is helping to shape the future of ecommerce in Southeast Asia, building a digital commerce infrastructure for MSMEs. As a one-stop-shop for millions of MSMEs, Zappi helps merchants reach Southeast Asia’s consumers where they spend most of their time: on their smartphones.

With the internet and mobile penetration skyrocketing in the market and the disruption that the pandemic brought to traditional ways of conducting business, the region's 100 million+ MSMEs that represent half of the Southeast Asian economy are now digitizing in droves and finding that few digital tools suited to their unique needs are available.

Against this backdrop Zaapi built their mobile application that allows sellers to create online stores and start selling online within seconds. From selling to buying to financing, the platform digitizes key business functions giving MSMEs an interface that is easy to navigate. Users can integrate other key aspects of the ecommerce system into their store such as local payments and logistics providers.
