Transcelestial raises $9.6M in Series A funding

Transcelestial, an ambitious company that is developing the fastest, long-distance, point-to-point wireless communication network possible, has just announced that is has raised $9.6M with EDBI and Wavemaker Partners leading the round, and Airbus Ventures, Cap Vista, Partech, Tekton Ventures, Entrepreneur First, SEEDS Capital and 2 previous angels also investing.
Transcelestial was founded in 2016 by Mohammad Danesh and Rohit Jha. It is a research-led, Singapore space and communications company that aims to push the boundaries of space exploration and communication by massively accelerating development and adoption of cutting edge space technologies.
